![]() These speculations, in addition to leaving fans like me whining, are also spurring a debate on whether "Brand first, Volume Next" is the right strategy. ![]() With the sales going south, it's likely for any company to look ahead and make decisions which might prove painful for a certain section of users, but proves to be profitable for company's overall growth. Hardcore Apple and rich affluent users will continue to shell out money for iPhones, but this section of users is extremely small. It is very easy to dismiss all the disadvantages as my personal preference, but it is harder to argue with the "Practical Indian Mentality". There are several other factors (usability of Apps) which put iPhone at a backseat when compared with the competition. The thing is, it's so hard to bet against iPhone! If not this, then what? Well, as they say there is life after death.
